For Makizushi,
  • Place seaweed shiny side down on Makisu (bamboo mat).
  • Spread 2 – 3 T of rice onto seaweed, leaving a finger width margin at top, lightly wetting hands with water as necessary to avoid sticking.
  • Add fish, vegetables, wasabi, etc.
  • Fold the mat without creasing so that the filing is in the center of the seaweed & roll.
